Another Christmas star for your tree (+ pattern)

Not long to go anymore and we are setting up all our Christmas decorations. So we still have some time to crochet some nice stars for our tree. Here is another star which might look a bit more complicated but which is definitely as easy as the other one you can find on my blog.
I have used some gold yarn and as it felt rather weak to make a star out of it I have mixed it with some white crochet yarn.
Hope you'll like it!!

PATTERN:
chain 6 and form a ring finishing with a sl st in 1st ch
Row1: 2ch, 1dc in same ch, * 2dc in every ch*, repeat 5 times, finish with a sl st in 2nd ch
Row2: 1sc, *5ch and 1sc in 2nd dc* repeat 5 times, finish with a sl st in 1st sc
Row3: 1sc, * 3ch, 2dc in ch space, 4ch and sl st in 4th from hook, 1dc in ch space, 6ch and sl st in 6th from hook, 1dc in ch space, 4ch and sl st in 4th from hook, 1dc in ch space, 3ch and 1sc in between next 2dc *, repeat 5 times, 20ch and sl st in same sc and finish off.

  3. Hi! I love your snowflakes but I am a beginner to crochet and have a tough time reading patterns (it's like they're written in code lol) is there any way you can post a fun snowflake pattern for beginners?

  4. Hey fellow blogger! I stumbled upon your blog and thought I'd share some bloggy love by nominating you for a Liebster Blog Award. If you have't heard of it (I hadn't either until recently), it's a way to share kuddos among the blogging community. You can read about it on my blog: http://asmithofalltrades.com/2012/11/27/liebster-blog-award/. Hope you had a great holiday and to hear from you soon! -- Jess

BTW, the snowflakes are gorgeous. Too bad I can't crochet to save my life!
